It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

"For those following me in training, it's been a challenging time because it appeared I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the young fast bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's spark.

A single was taken off the bowler's initial ball and from that point the batsman was on her way.

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was removed Australia required another 66 at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
